d-baggro :

Here’s what I’m into:

Punk rock (not what you think.. the real, underground punk you probably don’t know about)
I don’t fit in with anyone really.. including people in the punk scene
I’m funny
I am not entirely an Anarchist but I relate to Anarchist theory and live a lifestyle similar to Anarchist lifestyle (except I don’t squat or find my own food)
I don’t steal from people, but I have stolen things from dumpsters and stores
I am not racist, homophobic or violent in any way, however if I have to fight for self defense or to defend friends and family I will.
I love archery, and I have very good aim (always have since I was in summer camp back when I was in 5th grade)
I like to read, but I’m not an intense reader
I like to write
I can play different musical instruments and can do almost any job, I learn quickly… but I’m not an expert at anything
I like to travel and move a lot.. but I do it with either no money or on a VERY tight budget (no hotels, no resorts… never left N. America
have to add more:

never left N. America… I could never afford it.
My family had money for a while, then went bankrupt when I was 6 years old… we were very poor until I was about 13, then I started traveling at 20, now I’m 27 and I still like to be on the move. But, I’ve never lived outside or lived in a squat.
I also like folk music
I like to explore, wander around the woods, etc.
I’m good looking with a prominent jaw (not square, not pointed, sort of in the middle) round ears, thick eyebrows, wavy/curly black hair, and I feel comfortable wearing a hood.
I’m shy and introverted unless I’m drunk. I enjoy beer, ale, and wine, but not hard liquor.
I am Agnostic, not athiest.

I figured I’d be a rogue… but I’m not a criminal. I always thought rogues were criminals.

If we’re going to get into folklore and mythology, my girlfriend decided she’s a gnome.

OK fellow nerds… GO!
StarTrekGurl: of course not, punk rock didn’t exist back then.

“sucks, but that’s life” Fuck that. That’s how you get stuck suffering. Your life is in your hands. If you want to give up and willfully take spoonfuls of shit every day of your life than you deserve it.

I want to know if it is any good or not because my husband’s birthday is coming up pretty soon. He told me that he like Taurus PT38 Super that he saw at gun store.. Also is it good for self defenses and carry around? What kind of bullets should i get?

I would vote for it if it were ever offered. Don’t you think after the first public hanging for rape or murder that the crime rate would go down? Of course there would have to be laws involved for self-defense and so that the innocent people wouldn’t suffer… but say there is an armed robbery and a shooting takes place (the robber shoots the store clerk). Shouldn’t that robber be shot or hanged as an example to others: DON’T DO THIS OR ELSE?
I’m glad to see that most of you are in favor of this; just wanted to add a side note that if the person convicted of a crime just goes to prison, that money to keep them locked up comes straight out of our pockets as taxpayers! Why should we have to feed, clothe, and house these animals that kill our family and friends?

graysmom :

A man is convinced to stage an armed robbery for insurance purposes. He is told the store manager is a willing participant, but it is a lie. The ‘robber,’ who was there only with the intent to commit insurance fraud, shoots in self-defense and kills the manager. He goes to prison for murder. A couple of years later, the shop owner, feeling an attack of conscience, comes forward with the truth that the robber was set up. The robber’s murder conviction is overturned. Can he now be charged with manslaughter?

Kansas City :

I’m trying to decide on a good self defense round for my 40 caliber handgun.
Is this stuff some of the best there is? http://www.hornady.com/store/40-S-and-W-165-gr-Critical-Defense/

Army Sniper :

Just a little bit? That the 2nd amendment is in imminent danger? He says he supports the 2nd amendment but has consistently voted against it. He has voted for laws supporting a handgun ban and against self defense in the home. He has voted for laws aimed at bankrupting the firearms industry and small business gun stores. He opposed the supreme court ruling on the DC gun ban. He wants criminal charges brought against anyone who defends themselves with a firearm. He wants a 500% increase in taxes on firearms and ammunition. He is completely opposed to concealed carry.

Why?

Now, if elected, he will have the opportunity to appoint supreme court justices who will destroy our 2nd amendment rights. You people need to wake up. Seriously.

I want one for self defense and to use as an easy access tool. I’m also kind of a collector. I see them all over the internet, but i wanna see it in person and buy with cash. who sells them?

Can a security guard at a retail store or other private facility in California legally use force to prevent a guest from breaking a rule? My understanding is that security guards have no more legal power than the average citizen when it comes to law enforcement. They can make a citizen’s arrest and use minimally necessary force to detain someone if they witness a crime or have probable cause to believe a felony occurred. Force can also be used in self-defense or to protect others.

But a rule is not the same as a law. If I (non-forcefully) cut in line at a store checkout counter, enter the fitting room with more items than the store’s posted limit, or refuse to check my bag on entry to a store, for example, I am breaking the store’s rule but not a law. Obviously I’m being obnoxious and uncivil, but I’m not breaking a law.

Even if I ignore the verbal instructions of a store guard, can he do any more than ask me to leave? (And then call the police on me for trespassing if I refuse.)

I need some pepper spray today for a self defense class, but I don’t know what kind of store I can buy it from. Can I buy it from my local gas station or something?

thefirstamerican :

if a burglar breaks into 7-11 store with a loaded gun and demands cash, then the clerk pulls out a shotgun in response, then the burglar shoots the clerk to defend himself. should he be acquitted of murder because he was self-defense against an armed clerk?
